Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Limited (PGCB) has published a notification for the recruitment of officers. Officers will be appointed to the position of managing director in this institution. Interested candidates should apply directly or by post.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university. OR Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Management. CGPA-5 must have a minimum scale of 3.5 and a minimum of 2.5 on a scale of 4. Third division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA at any level of education is not acceptable. Must have at least 25 years of work experience. At least 5 years of experience in senior management position. Must have at least 5 years work experience in related field, preferably in generation, transmission or distribution utilities. Experience in Company Law, Labor Law, TQM, TPM, Preventive Maintenance, Corporate Governance, Strategic Management and Project Management will be preferred. Should be fluent in Bangla and English with computer skills.

Age: Maximum 60 years as on 9 March 2023.

Job Type: Five Years Contractual. The contract is renewable till the age of 62 years.

Salary: Monthly Basic Salary is Rs.1,75,000.

Benefits: 50% house rent of basic salary, two festival bonus in a year, Boishakhi allowance, provident fund, group insurance, leave allowance, gratuity, medical-facility, full-time car with annual salary increment.
