The coronavirus has arrived. This virus is evolving in different countries. This epidemic has plagued the world for the past two years. So far, approximately 65 lakh people have died as a result of coronavirus. Meanwhile, another virus has been discovered in China. So far, 35 people have become infected with the 'Langaya' Henipavirus (Levi). Outbreaks of the virus have been reported in China's Henan and Shandong provinces.

This virus spreads from the human body to animals. According to a study conducted by scientists from China, Singapore, and Australia. This study was published in the "New England Journal of Medicine" in the United States. However, no one has been infected with this virus from human to human, according to researchers.

This virus has infected patients with fever. This virus is known to primarily affect people's throats.

According to a previously published study, the Langaya virus was first detected in humans in 2019. This year, however, the virus infected the greatest number of people.

Chinese researchers are investigating whether this virus is contagious or not, whether it can spread from one person to another. Researchers at the Beijing Institute of Microbiology and Epidemiology say that the main symptom of this virus is fever. Apart from this, symptoms such as cough, loss of appetite, muscle pain, nausea, headache and vomiting have also been observed among the affected.

Professor Wang Linfa of the Emerging Infectious Diseases Program at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore, who is involved in the study, said the virus is not yet fatal or very serious. So no need to panic. Langaya virus is a member of the Nipah virus family.
